Ok all, we are looking for volunteers to help wash cars on Saturday morning, July 25th from 9-noon at the Contry Pines in Maine. We will be raising money for a 16 year old yound man, Blake Madison, who has been paralyzed in a car accident.

He loves Mustangs, has one himself that he may never be able to drive!!

We have also been asked to show our stangz during the benefit. I asked if we could even take Blake on a short cruise around town...? So we might even take a little cruise.

This date is approaching pretty quickly, I hope we can do some good and help this young man and his family out with this car wash. Please let me know if you will be helping out or not. If not, no big deal.

As this gets a little closer, we will need to make sure we have everything together to wash a bunch of cars.

We are going to try to make it to the CarWash, I'll do my best. This kid is from my town.

The 25th is my Daughters Birthday and we also have a wedding in the afternoon. Just might be able to make an appearance in the morning for an hour or two. Really don't like missing an event with such an important cause.

We wanted to thank everyone for the excellent teamwork that was displayed yesterday at the car wash and benefit for Blake and his family. I was so proud of our club members for the unbelievable turnout and support everyone showed. It was honestly one of the best events I think our club has ever done together. Blake had a wonderful time and couldn't stop smiling! Of course, John took him for a ride in his super-charged stang which I'm sure had something to do with it. Plus, 18 others of us were in Stangs cruising right along with them for that ride. He told me he felt like he had died and gone to heaven. He had a great time! Also, the Twin Tiers Mustang club came along as well towards the end of the car wash for the cruise. All together I believe we had 24 mustangs yesterday for Blake's event.

I am working on a short video w/pictures that I hope to get to work on the website for all of you to see, and Blake. I may utube it so it's easier.

Thanks again everyone. Mike and I were soooo happy and we had a ton of fun with you all!
